We are still having great sales in the store. We all know that the economy is still taking some hard hits. We are still having great sales. Keep bringing the fantastic “stuff” coming into the store and the customers will buy it!!!
Store Display: The next store front display will be changed toward the middle of this month. More than likely to a gardening/yard type display. If you have something special let us know so we can direct the display builders your direction! We will also try to work in some great gifts for Mom! Toward the middle of May we will try and do a “Dad and Grad” display.
Just a reminder about the display… If you have things you think will go with the theme, let us know, and please do not put your items in until you check with the management.
We have selected May 9th for our “2nd Anniversary-Customer Appreciation” sale. Everything in the store will be 20% off for the day. If you have items that are too close to your profit margin and you do not want to sell them at 20% off please remove them from the store by 5PM on May 8. There will be some information sheets available for those of you who have not been through a sale day with us. They will be next to the file box. We will be in need of extra hands that day, and a sign up sheet is attached to the calendar.
One thing I’ve noticed about the store and those who work… It really builds friendships. We have vendors that did not know each other before being here, and now they are great friends, make sure they work the same day, and really seem to enjoy each others company. We even have a vendor that wrote us a cute little poem about the store and her work time here!!! Thanks Jane!!!
Reminders:
• REMEMBER!!! The calendar comes out one month early, PLEASE get signed up as soon as you can. WE CAN NOT be without coverage in the store!!!
• Anniversary rent credit! 10% off your rent during your anniversary month!
• If you cannot work your time due to weather or illness, please contact us as soon as possible (even at home)! We will try and reschedule with you
• Upstairs space is for LARGER items. Please remember to keep your smaller items downstairs as we do not have the security upstairs that we do down!
• Rent is due on the 1st of the month, payable up to the 10th and late with a $10 late fee after that date
• A thirty day written notice is required when you are vacating your booth at the end of the month. This applies when you are leaving after your initial six months OR at any other time after your 6 month commitment is over
• Don’t forget about the “finder’s fee” bonus when you sponsor a new vendor for the store. See Bonnie or Scott for more information.
Scott’s Thoughts: ?Fish, fish, fish! It is that time of the year. It’s time to get the poles, tackle boxes and boats out. Steve Herbold (Cathy’s husband) and I spent 5 days at Brookings fishing. Although the ocean was rough and the fishing was mostly poor we still had a great time. Still looking for fishing partners to go in my boat so let me know if you’re interested.
Thanks for making Keeper’s Corner (your store) such a great one. Be sure to get ready for SALE DAY in May.
Great vendors and great customers… what a winning combination.

We are still having great sales in the store. I appreciate what all of you are doing to keep the store well stocked and looking and feeling good for our customers. It is showing in the sales for the store.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! DO NOT put broken glass directly into the garbage cans!! Put it in a paper bag and seal it up before putting into the trash. Scott got cut very badly last week working with a trash bag.
During hard economic times there are two givens: Violence and theft will rise!! PLEASE keep your eyes and ears open when you are in the store for the latter. And also, please refrain from working on your booth when you are doing your store hours. Also, if you haven’t noticed we now have some “eyes in the sky” to help.
Store Display: The next store front display will be changed toward the middle of April. More than likely to a gardening/yard type display. If you have something special let us know so we can direct the display builders your direction!
Please remember that the “Man Cave” and the “Christmas Room” are here for your convenience, PLEASE do not take advantage of the available space. Remember that there are others who may also want to display something.
March’s calendar is still showing a lot of empty slots. Please get signed up as soon as you can.
OH, those darn name tags!!! Please check your purses, jackets, sweaters and car for any strays and bring them home!

Scott’s Thoughts: Spring is right around the corner… we hope, and the yard sales will be going every weekend so get ready to fill your booths. Keep them full and you will get great rewards. As always, thanks for all you do for “your” store.
Last minute thought: ?The weather will change soon and I will be looking for fishing partners (guys and gals both). See me for details.
