Did you see the “Featured Vendor” booth??? Lori Burk had the honor of being the first to occupy it, and we also want to thank Lori and hubby, Bobby, for all their work in getting the Featured Vendor area decorated.  Billie York was drawn next and will be featured through June 11, when a new vendor will put up a display.

The theme for the next front display area will be “In the good old Summer Time.”  It will go up soon after Father’s Day.  Toward the end of June we will begin working in some Americana to celebrate the 4th of July.  That will stay up until mid July.  If you have items you think may fit the themes, please contact Bonnie, Scott or Cora.

A big apology to any of you that didn’t know about the parking lot sale.  You still have a chance to participate!  We will be having another one the first Saturday of July and the first Saturday of August.  If you want to participate, please let us know!!  We have a sign up sheet on the counter.

Now on a little bit of a negative note, we have had some complaints from customers that some of the 4 foot deep booths are so packed full that they cannot get in to them to get at an item they are interested in.  I know that we are all anxious to have a good supply for the customers to choose from, but if they cannot see or touch, they probably will not buy!!

A GREAT BIG thank you to all of the vendors that go the extra mile with the vacuum, dust cloths, brooms and dust pans.  This is a HUGE store to keep clean, and we appreciate all of your help in doing just that!!  When you vacuum your space, please take a few minutes and vacuum the aisle in front of your area, which will cut down on the time it takes to do the whole store.

Thank you for all of your donations for the “Customer Appreciation” gift basket drawing.  We have been able to give a wonderful gift for each month.

Please, please, please return the missing nametags!!! We need them!

Reminders:
• Check the “Want List” from customers.
• Check the bulletin board for other information
• Correct tags are money in your pocket!!!! Check the till for no ID tags
• If you are planning to vacate your booth here at KC, please remember that you, (as stated in the contract) must give a 30 day written notice, given or postmarked by the first of the month you are planning on leaving.  IE if your contract is up, and you plan on leaving at the end of July, we need to have your 30 day WRITTEN notice byJULY 1.

Scott’s Thoughts: Well, I finally got time and went back to work putting pegboard on the wall.  The area in the “classroom” has been turned into 8 brand new booths and 5 have already rented.  It is great people like you that keep me working.  If you, or a friend, are interested in a booth in that area please let Bonnie or Scott know ASAP.

I have also gotten all of the air conditioners up and running with the coming of the warmer weather. They have really cooled off the building.

I may have a great idea… what would all of you vendors think of a KC Barbeque and picnic?  Bonnie and I would supply hamburgers, hotdogs and all of the fixings.  The vendors could “pot-luck” the salads, desserts and other things.  We could do it some evening (6:30 PM??) in one of the local parks.  Please stop by or call and give us your input. We’ll set a date as soon as we hear from you.

I would like to give everyone personal thanks for all of the support we are getting from you as vendors and also the customers.  It is great people like you that will make all of us successful.
