A great BIG “THANK YOU” to Cora Lange, Linda Shann, and Dana Dunkin for assisting at the till for the Grand Opening Sale. They did a Fantastic job! It is so very important that till procedure is followed so we can minimize errors. These gals were a part of Crafters Market for many years, and had participated as counter help so knew how important it was to be correct and careful.  A big order to fill and they did it!!

Also, a big “THANK YOU” to all of the vendors who worked extra hours on Saturday for the sale.  You all went above and beyond. And last but not least, “THANK YOU” to all of you who donated items for the door prizes. The customers had fun choosing, and they will remember the nice gifts.  Thanks also to those who took the time to freshen up your booths and stock them for the sale.  It paid off!!

Just a reminder that properly filled out price tags equal money in your pocket!! Items with tags missing vendor ID information will be sold, and the tags dated and placed on the cash register for one month.  Items with no prices will be placed in the box at the back of the coffee area.  If you are missing items and they are not on layaway or in one of the displays, check the cash register for tags with no vendor ID or in the box for items with no prices.  PLEASE, do not put personal inventory numbers on the front of the tag; use the back of the tag.

Keeper’s Corner Tee Shirts? Yes!  They are here and available for you to purchase.  Sizes S-M-Lrg. and XL are $7.50, 2XL are $8.00, and 3XL are $9.00 to the vendors (1/2 the retail price). Ask at the front counter.

A GREAT BIG thank you to all of the vendors that go the extra mile with the vacuum, dust cloths, brooms and dust pans.  This is HUGE store to keep clean, and we appreciate all of your help in doing just that!!  When you vacuum your space, please take a few minutes and vacuum the aisle in front of your area, which will cut down on the time it takes to do the whole store.

We started the “Customer Appreciation” gift basket drawing.  This is held monthly, and will be given after the last day of sales for the month. There is an information sheet on the bulletin board with all of the information on it.  Any questions see Bonnie or Scott, or Cora. Thank you for all of your donations. We are able to give a wonderful gift for the month.

Attention! Attention!! Attention!!! We are starting a “Featured Vendor” booth in the mural area.  This vendor can use this booth, free of charge, for 13 days.  The “Featured Vendor” with be drawn at random 2 weeks prior to the date they will begin using the booth. This will give the selected vendor time to decide on what to feature in the space provided. See Bonnie or Scott for full details about the “Featured Vendor” booth.

Please, please, please return the missing nametags!!! We need them!

Reminders:
• Check the “Want List” from customers.
• Check the bulletin board for other information
• Correct tags are money in your pocket!!!!

Scott’s Thoughts: If you haven’t noticed your store, Keeper’s Corner, is full.  Bonnie rented the last rentable booth this month and now it is time for me to go back to work.  I  was hoping, and we have had some interest, in renting the “classroom” area as a whole, but due to the fact that we have 6 vendors waiting on a “waiting list” I will soon be putting up peg board and dividers in that area of the store.   If you, or a friend, are interested in a booth in that area please let Bonnie or Scott know ASAP.

One more thought: “Luck… something that happens when preparation meets opportunity.” I f you want to be lucky in sales prepare, prepare, prepare!

Bonnie-great site. Hope all your venders "drop by" and read all the info you are sending out to the internet.
Have to chuckle tho on the newsletter-some things NEVER change do they? i.e. missing name tags, price tag snafus? You and Scott should be VERY proud of what you have accomplished in making Keeper's Corner YOUR store and not a clone of Crafters Market! Kudos and Gold Stars!!!
